Chief Minister Shane Stone, Governor of East Timor Jose Soares and Neville Walker AM (Chairman of Henry Walker Limited). José Abílio Osório Soares was an Indonesian politician. He was the last governor of the Indonesian Province of East Timor before the country's independence. Soares succeeded Mário Viegas Carrascalão as Governor. He led the pro-Indonesian movent in East Timor and serious allegations were made against him. He subsequently fled to West Timor.
