NT News Editorial 'Politics needs to be left at the door when it comes to disaster recovery'. In response to calls for the Co-ordinator General of the National Recovery & Resilience Agency Shane Stone to resign by the ALP spearheaded by Senator Murray Watt the NT News reported strong support for Shane Stone in the flood-affected areas in the Northern Rivers of NSW. The Mayor of Lismore, Steve Krieg and the Mayor of Ballina Sharon Cadwaller backed Shane Stone.
