Planning Day opening Address by the Co-ordinator General the Honourable Shane L. Stone AC QC National Drought and North QLD Flood Response and Recovery Agency. Speech comprised 3 key themes. Our future as an Agency of the Morrison Government; the expectations of Prime Minister Scott Morrison and more broadly of the Australian Public Service, that includes all Agency staff; and the interface of flood and drought in the Agency. A flood is a natural disaster, drought is no longer classified as a disaster with the historical agreement of the States and Territories.
