Shane Stone meeting with Forbes Council

Heavy rainfall led to overflowing catchments across South West QLD, Central West NSW, and Victoria. As Coordinator General of the Commonwealth National Recovery & Resilience Agency, Shane Stone visited flood-impacted communities over a 5 day period accompanied by local Recovery and Support Officers to gauge the damage and formulate advice to the Prime Minister the Hon Scott Morrison MP who had inspected the same areas the week previously. Coordinator-General of the National Recovery & Resilience Agency meeting with Forbes City Council, farmers, and small businesses during a visit following local flooding. Shane Stone had previously visited Forbes on drought-related issues.
