Lunch at the Boat Shed Cotton Tree on the Maroochydore River. Barbara Kefford, Josephine Stone, Shane Stone, and Dorothy Edwards. Cotton Tree is a coastal neighbourhood within the suburb of Maroochydore on the Sun Shine Coast. The Stone family regularly visited and camped in the Cotton Tree Caravan park in the 1960s. The first European evidence dates from an escaped convict in 1827. The Boat Shed is a legendary family restaurant founded in 1997 when a boat hire business was converted to a restaurant on the Maroochydore (Maroochy) River.
