Passing of Peter Severin

From the moment I arrived in Alice Springs in the mid-1980's Petter Severin was there to give me 'blunt', wise and direct counsel. He was very much a man of his era and made an enormous contribution to the Territory cattle industry and tourism. He was the sort of bloke who always called it as he saw it.
