The Honourable Shane L Stone AC QC ninth Chairman of the Order of Australia February 2018 advised January 2018, see media statement. Previously had declined appointment as Chairman in 2017. Formerly a Community Member of the Council appointed 2014 (2 years) and further renewed 2016 (2 years), resigned 2017. Subsequently appointed Chairman and reappointed Community Member in February 2018. In July 2020 reappointed Chairman for a further 2 years. All positions as a community member and Chairman honorary, unpaid.
