The Coordinator-General the Honourable Shane Stone AC QC and former Commonwealth Minister and leading Country Party identity the Honourable Peter Nixon AO in Orbost country Victoria. Shane holding the autobiography 'The Peter Nixon Story' published 2012. Peter served in the House of Representatives from 1961 to 1983, representing the Division of Gippsland as a member of the Country Party (later National Country Party; NCP). He held ministerial office as Minister of the Interior (1967–1971), Shiping and Transport (1971–1972), Postmaster General (1975), Transport (1975–1979), and Primary Industry (1979–1983). He was a Cabinet Minister in the Gorton, McMahon and Fraser Governments. He was an outstanding representative of country people.
