Order of Australia Investiture Government House Darwin. Barry Coulter AO. former Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for the Railway. Widely acknowledged as the architect of the North-South Railway. His citation read: 'For distinguished service to the government and the community of the Northern Territory, and to business'; Suzanne Cavanagh OAM. Her citation read: 'For service to politics in the Northern Territory'. Former Secretary-General and first female President of the Northern Territory Country Party. The Honourable Shane L Stone AC QC, Chairman of the Order of Australia Council.
