Howletts

The Howletts and Port Lympne Foundation established by the late John Aspinall and chaired by his brother and Territorian James Osborne. The Foundation has as its stated aim 'Devoted to saving rare and endangered animals with the intention of returning them to protected areas in the wild'. Both Howletts and Port Lympne are located in Kent, UK. James and Jannie Osborne lived for a time in Darwin managing the casino on behalf of the UK owners Aspinals. The Osborne family became Australian citizens and maintain a close interest in Australia as their second home.
