Letter from the Hon Larry Anthony MP

Correspondence from the Honourable Larry Anthony MP, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Trade following the retirement of Shane Stone as Chief Minister of Australia's Northern Territory. Extensive mail, fax and telephone messages were received from the Asia Pacific region, throughout the Territory and from Australia wide, hence, a small selection of the correspondence has been included in the archives. Extract: ''You have done a great service to the people of the Northern Territory and I am certain your expertise and presence will be sorely missed in leadership and on the front bench''. Some years later Larry Anthony introduced Shane Stone as his successor as National Chairman of the Duke of Edinburgh Award in Australia.
