Correspondence from Mr Ricard P Guevara, Chairman and President, MCCI Corporation, former President of the Philippines - Australia Business Council (PABC) following the retirement of Shane Stone as Chief Minister of Australia's Northern Territory. Extensive mail, fax and telephone messages were received from throughout the Asia Pacific region, the Territory and from Australia wide, hence, a small selection of the correspondence has been included in the archives. Extract: ''Your accomplishment during your tenure is almost legendary and universally known, if not acclaimed, by those who have been involved in Northern Territory's activities''. Shane Stone was conferred Life Membership of the Philippines-Australia Business Council (PABC) during an address to the Council in 1996. At that time the only other Australian to have been accorded the honour was Melbourne businessman Sir Rupert Clarke Bt.
