A very personal letter from Bishop Ted Collins, following the retirement of Shane Stone as Chief Minister of Australia's Northern Territory. Extensive mail, fax and telephone messages were received from throughout the Territory and from Australia wide, hence, a small selection of the correspondence has been included in the archives. Extract: 'Thank you, Shane, for your leadership and your willingness to make decisions even when they come at a heavy price. Indecision is worse than making an occasional mistake, it is important for people to know where you are coming from. You let them know''. Bishop Ted attended Shane and Josephine Stone's Testimonial Dinner on 26 March 1999.
