Correspondence from Mr Muammar Patsalides, President, Islamic Association of Muslim Greeks in Australia pledging support for the re-election of the CLP Government in the forthcoming General election. The letter was not solicited or requested but gratefully received by Chief Minister Stone. Archive Documents 'General Election 1997 analysis' (which represented a high water mark for the CLP with a 54.7% primary vote and a record turn out).
