Letter from Woodside Petroleum

Correspondence of congratulations from Mr John Akehurst, CEO Woodside Petroleum Limited, following the very successful 1997 General Election campaign that saw the return of the Stone CLP Government. Extensive mail, fax and telephone messages were received from throughout the Territory and from Australia wide following the resounding election victory, hence, a small selection of the correspondence has been included in the archives. Post Parliament Shane Stone worked with John Akehurst and his team in conjunction with the Northwest Shelf LNG Project that delivered the historic $AUD25 billion LNG sale to China.
