Letter from Sumitomo Corporation

Correspondence from Mr Takaaki Shibata, Director and General Manager, Petroleum & Carbon Division, Sumitomo Corporation following the retirement of Shane Stone as Chief Minister of Australia's Northern Territory. Extensive mail, fax and telephone messages were received from throughout the Territory and from Australia wide, hence, a small selection of the correspondence has been included in the archives. The Sumitomo Corporation were very focused on a Bonaparte Gulf LNG project and at Shane Stone's request had established an office in Darwin.
