Letter from the Northern Territory Livestock Exporters Association

Correspondence from Dr Ross Ainsworth, Executive Officer, of the Northern Territory Livestock Exporters Association following the retirement of Shane Stone as Chief Minister. Dr Ainsworth's letter is very detailed and personal recalling the support and encouragement of Shane Stone as a Minister and Chief Minister. The concluding paragraph sums up the Exporters sentiment. Extract: ''Although you may not be constantly advised of our gratitude, you can be assured that all of our members and many Territorians who enjoy the direct and indirect benefits of the live export trade have truly appreciated your efforts''. Shane Stone's letter of reply dated 23 April attached included support for Denis Burke and his team.
