Letter from Maggie Rutherford

Correspondence from Maggie Rutherford following Shane Stone's retirement as Chief Minister. Extensive mail was received from throughout the Territory and from Australia wide. Correspondence, fax and telephone messages were numerous, hence, a small selection has been included in the archives. Maggie Rutherford was a Darwin small businesswoman (extract): ''... I believed you brought a fresh and dynamic approach to the CLP and the Northern Territory with particular reference to business and commercial enterprise'', a sentiment repeatedly made by ''locals''. Shane Stone's response of 28 April is attached.
