Letter from the Deputy Commander NORCOM

13 December 1996

Correspondence from Colonel R.W aka Rob Shoebridge ADC, Deputy Commander Headquarters Northern Command, on his departure from the Northern Territory. 'Gallipoli old boys' referred to the fact that both Rob Shoebridge and Shane Stone during their respective time at the Royal Military College (RMC), were members of Gallipoli Company. The latter never graduated whereas Rob Shoebridge went onto to win the Sword of Honour - top RMC Cadet.
