Pam, Les and Shane Stone

Les Stone was the Headmaster of the one teacher school at Cornishtown near Chiltern. He had struck up a friendship with then owner of All Saints winery, the Sutherland Smith family, who invited Les to teach the vineyard workers English in exchange of some wine. A number of the Italians stayed in contact including the Franscicine family who moved to Melbourne. Pam, Les and Shane Stone pictured with two of the Italian winery workers.
