Reception in honour of Sam Calder OBE DFC JP. Pictured with Sam Calder left with Mr Brian Wauchop CLP activist. Sam was a decorated WWII pilot; post-war he flew for Connellan Airways based in Alice Springs. Sam Calder was one of the founding fathers of the CLP. He was elected to the House of Representatives as the Member for the Northern Territory in 1966-1980. He sat with the Country Party. Chief Minister's office Parliament House Darwin.
