Launch of the Living with Alcohol Campaign

Chief Minister Shane Stone launching the 'Living With Alcohol' campaign, a Northern Territory Government program at the Darwin Casino. Supported by the Australian Hotels Association, the tourist industry and Northern Territory Police. Successive CLP Governments worked to proactively tackle excessive alcohol consumption in the NT with varying success. Gary Shipway Press Secretary to the Chief Minister testing the blood alcohol machine called the Alcolizer installed in the Casino to assist patrons in deciding whether or not to drive. Assisted by Sergeant Allan Mitchell of the NT Police. The Australian Hotels Association (AHA) has consistently joined with successive NT Governments in such initiatives.
