The Official Opening of NT EXPO 95 at Darwin High School. The naming of Darwin's International Trade Pavillion in honour of former Chief Minister Marshall Perron. The announcement of awards for the leading exhibitions. Acknowledgement of sponsors including major sponsor Malaysian Airlines. Chief Minister Shane Stone introducing Manuel Carrascal from East Timor to the Federal Trade Minister the Hon Bob McMullin. A long-term friend of the Stone family Manuel went onto to be elected the Speaker of the Timor Leste Parliament.
