Darwin Ambon Yacht Race
Preparing fresh fish fillets for dinner day 2 on the way to Ambon. Shane was told not to waste his time fishing as the veterans of the race claimed no one every catches fish out here. Obviously no one told the fish. Crew comprised the 'Skipper' Jim Noonan, navigator Mal Sciacca, cook Shane Stone, deckhands Rob Stewart (also photographer), George Watkins and Tim Prichard. The yacht owned by Jim Noonan was a monohull Mottle 33 designed by Australian Joe Adams - named the 'Frances Claire'.
