Day one heading to Ambon from Darwin heading to the Banda Sea (sea in the Maluku Islands of Indonesia connected to the Pacific Ocean). Catch of the day - head of a mackerel. Crew comprised the 'Skipper' Jim Noonan, navigator Mal Sciacca, cook Shane Stone, deckhands Rob Stewart (also photographer), George Watkins and Tim Prichard. The yacht owned by Jim Noonan was a monohull Mottle 33 designed by Australian Joe Adams - named the 'Frances Claire'.
