India Australia Round Table

In September 2014 the Prime Minister of Australia the Hon Tony Abbott MP and the Minister for Trade and Investment the Hon Andrew Robb AO MP led a delegation of 30 senior Australian business figures on a high-level business mission to India. The aim of the mission was to build trade and investment ties with one of Australia’s most promising markets. The programme included industry roundtables in Mumbai and New Delhi, bringing together top Australian and Indian executives to forge stronger business relationships, promoting economic engagement and discuss investment opportunities to support growth in the two countries. The India Australia dialogue is organised by the Australia India Institute in partnership with the Lowy Institute and with the prominent Indian foreign policy think tank the Observer Research Foundation. It is supported by the Public Diplomacy Division of the Indian Ministry of External Affairs and the Australia India Council of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
