The 2016 Republican National Convention was held in Cleveland, Ohio July 18-21, 2016. Day 3: Donald Trump introduces his running mate Governor Mike Pence to Convention. Since 2013, 50th governor of Indiana; previously represented Indiana's 2nd congressional district and Indiana's 6th congressional district in the House of Representatives (2001 to 2013); chairman of the House Republican Conference (2009 to 2011). Pence is a conservative and a supporter of the ‘Tea Party’ movement. Daily theme: Make America First Again.
