Sri Lanka Independence Day

Sri Lanka Independence Day celebrations held at Parliament House Darwin. Chief Minister Shane Stone and Minister Mick Palmer with Committee Members of the Sri Lanka Australia Friendship Association, an organisation committed to finding a way of providing a friendly network for new arrivals to Darwin, and to build links between Sri Lankans and local Territorians. Celebrations coincided with the visit of Sri Lankan Minister and his wife.
