NT EXPO 1997 VIP Welcome Lunch

EXPO 1997 Chief Minister's VIP welcome lunch. There were two VIP lunches on successive days - 24 and 26 June. The lunches were intended to welcome visiting Ministers, Diplomats, EXPO Delegation Leaders and business people. Foremost was the intention to provide local Territory business people with the opportunity to network regional counterparts. Territory businessman and former Managing Editor NT News, Julian Swinstead, Philippines businessman Oscar de Venecia, Australian Consul Bali George Fraser (DFAT) and Indonesian Ambassador to Australia Sastrohandoyo Wiryono.
