Presentation to the Honourable Shane Stone to mark his retirement as Chairman of the Defence Reserve Support Council by the Honourable Mike Kelly AM Parliamentary Secretary for Defence Support. The inscription read: Presented to the Honourable Shane L Stone AC PGDK QC In recognition and appreciation of his service as Vice Chairman of the Defence Reserve Support Council from 15 October 2000 to 31 December 2005 and as Chairman of the Defence Reserve Support Council from 1 January 2006 to 31 December 2008. During this service, his commitment, drive and energy considerably raised the profile of the Defence Reserve Support Council and heightened awareness and understanding of the commitment of Defence Reserves and their Employers.
