Inspiring quote of President Calvin Coolidge Jnr

John Calvin Coolidge, Jnr. was the thirtieth President of the United States (1923–1929). A Republican lawyer he won election as Governor of Vermont. Soon after, he was elected as the twenty-ninth Vice President in 1920 and succeeded to the Presidency upon the death of Warren G. Harding. Elected in his own right in 1924, he gained a reputation as a small-government conservative. He was famous for his quotes many of which remain as relevant today as they were last century. For example “It takes a great man to be a good listener” and “Don’t expect to build up the weak by pulling down the strong.” Sir ‘Reg’ Ansett founder of Ansett Airlines in Australia kept the attached extract in his office. Shane Stone on commencing employment reproduced the attached document by hand, had it framed and displayed where ever he worked. It remains intact and on display to this day.
