Senator Edgardo J. Angara

Senator Edgardo J. Angara served as President of the Senate of the Philippines from 1993 to 1995. He was a Senator from 1987 to 1998 and then served as Secretary of Agriculture from 1999 to 2001. He served in the Senate again from 2001 to 2013. Highly regarded he accompanied President Ramos on his State Visit to Australia taking in the Northern Territory.
