Philippines Australia Business Council (PABC) Life Member

Shane Stone was conferred Life Membership of the Philippines-Australia Business Council (PABC) during an address to the Council in 1996. At that time the only other Australian to have been accorded the honour was Melbourne business man Sir Rupert Clarke Bt. Chief Minister Stone presented the NT Plaque on the occasion. The Philippines Australia Business Cooperation Committee (PABCC), now called Philippines-Australia Business Council (PABC), was jointly organized in Metro Manila in July 1975 by the Philippine Chamber of Industries under its then Chairman, Mr. Raul Boncan and the Council of Economic Development under its then President, Mr. David Sycip.
