NT Trade Delegation to the Philippines

Vice President Estrada with Mr. Sam and Lilia Mrs. Marquez .Joseph ‘Erap’ Ejercito Estrada was the 13th President of the Philippines serving from 1998 until 2001. Estrada was the first person post Marcos to be elected both to the Presidency and Vice-Presidency. Following the visit to Darwin by His Excellency the President of the Philippines Fidel V Ramos the NT Territory was fast tracked to send a number of Trade Delegations to promote and enhance the trading relationship between Northern Australia and the Philippines under the direct patronage and support of the President.
