NT Trade Delegation to the Philippines

The Philippines Australia Business Cooperation Committee (PABCC), now called Philippines-Australia Business Council (PABC), was jointly organized in Metro Manila in July 1975 by the Philippine Chamber of Industries under its then Chairman, Mr. Raul Boncan and the Council of Economic Development under its then President, Mr. David Sycip. Following the visit to Darwin by His Excellency the President of the Philippines Fidel V Ramos the NT Territory was fast tracked to send a number of Trade Delegations to promote and enhance the trading relationship between Northern Australia and the Philippines under the direct patronage and support of the President.
