NT Trade Delegation to the Philippines

Chief Minister Stone meeting Hon Cesar B. Bautista Philippines Secretary of Trade. Secretary Department of Trade & Industry. Chairman Board of Investments, Export Development Council, Industry & Development Council, WTO/AFTA Advisory Commission, the National Development Corporation, The Presidential Committee on National Museum Development, Cabinet Committee on Tariff and Related Matters, Economic Growth Areas/Zones. Also Chairman of the Presidential Economic Monitoring and Mobilization Task Force (impact of Asian financial crisis). Order of Sikatuna (Datu) and recipient of the Presidential Order of Merit. Following the visit to Darwin by His Excellency the President of the Philippines Fidel V Ramos the NT Territory was fast tracked to send a number of Trade Delegations to promote and enhance the trading relationship between Northern Australia and the Philippines under the direct patronage and support of the President.
