Minister Stone meeting with the Most Rev Bishop Carlos Filipe Ximenes Belo SDB GCL (a Salesian) in Dili East Timor pre-Independence. Bishop Bello received the 1996 Nobel Peace Prize for work "towards a just and peaceful solution to the conflict in East Timor’’. He retired as Bishop 26 November 2002. He moved to Mozambique to work in the missions.
