Medallion Commemorating visit of HRH Prince Edward, Duke of Edinburgh to Australia

HRH Prince Edward, the Duke of Edinburgh has made periodic visits to Australia in support of the Award over the past decades of his involvement. Since the introduction of the Award in 1959 over 800,000 young Australians have completed the Award. To commemorate the most recent visit of the now Patron of the International Award HRH Prince Edward, The Duke of Edinburgh KG, GCVO, CD, ADC, a special medallion was struck to mark the visit and celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the Award in Australia.
