Harold Mair and Pam Stone

Harold Mair was the former Mayor and later Labor Member for Albury in the NSW Parliament. Pam Stone was a former Mayor of Wodonga. Both had been widowed. Harold was a close friend of Les Stone through the Catholic Church and both families were well known to each other. Pam and Harold became occasional travel partners. Harold proposed more but Pam preferred to remain unpartnered. Notwithstanding they remained very close friends over many years. The framed photo sat on Pam's bedside table. Harold predeceased Pam. The photo appears to have been taken in the Northern Territory on a date unknown.
