Macaulay Street Albury

House on the corner of Macaulay and Tribune Streets Albury owned and occupied by Mrs Pam Stone OAM JP, first woman Mayor of Wodonga. The house was built by local builder Frederick Arthur Stow aka F.A Stow in 1938. In the late 20’s and early 1930s, Stow commenced building homes, flats and business premises in Albury and surrounding areas, Walla Walla and Table Top to name a couple. It was at this time that he formed his first Company. Albury North Joinery & Timber Co. He built all the joinery for the many homes that he built. A number of his homes are still standing today
