Annual Erskine Cup Stuartholme miniature trophy presented to team members

Erskin Cup miniature trophy presented to each of the successful team members. The Stuartholme annual Erskine Cup public speaking competition was open to grade 11 and 12 students. Each student was required to prepare a speech which reflected the values of the Sacred Heart. Madeleine Stone won the competition with her speech about poverty. Thereafter the grade 12s voted on who they wanted as Valedictorian 2012 and selected Madeleine Stone. Team members Madeline Border (Grade 11), Madeleine Spain, Madeleine Stone, Sarah Hain, Rebecca Long (all grade 12s). Hear Madeleine Stone's valedictory speech here. To the disappointment of the Stone family, friends and supporters Stuartholme school omitted to engage a photographer on the night to capture Madeleine's speech. Fortunately, a family member recorded the Valedictory speech on a cell phone but no photos of the occasion.
