ABC 2CO Interview with Jean Whitla reflecting on her time at the ABC covering the Murray Goulburn area in North East Victoria. Jean and Chas Whitla (deceased) were close friends to Les and Pam Stone. Jean campaigned with Pam for her election to Council and as the first woman Mayor of Wodonga. Jean was conferred a Medal of the Order of Australia 26 January 2008, her citation read: 'For service to the community of Wodonga, particularly through local history, youth and media organisations'.
