Rex Chamberlain, Les Stone, Doug Anthony and Andrew Rutkowski

Councillor Rex Chamberlain JP later served as Mayor of the Rural City of Wodonga 1977-80. Councillor Les Stone JP was the first Mayor of Wodonga and passed away in December that same year. The Right Honourable Doug Anthony served as Deputy Prime Minister McMahon Government and would later resume the role in the Fraser Government from 1975. At this time he was Leader of the Federal Country Party and Deputy Leader of the Opposition. Mr. Andrew Rutkowski was Town Clerk from 1972 to 1980. The occasion was a Civic Reception.
